From Australian warehouses to Texas soil:
our journey to becoming the leading skid steer attachment provider
Before Dirt Boss was founded, Eddie Fisher's journey began in the mid-90s on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. After spending over 22 years as a professional rodeo bareback and bull rider, competing in PRCA and PBR events across Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA, he shifted his focus to construction.
Eddie started his own skid steer loader business, which quickly grew to handle everything from new home clean-ups to subdivisions, footings, plumbing drainage, and landscaping. For over six years, he ran a successful operation before returning to rodeo fore a few more years in the US.
Eddie's innovations to the American skid steer industry
Always on the lookout for ways to improve the skid steer business, Eddie discovered Norm Engineering and their innovative 4-in-1 tilt buckets, which was a game changer for leveling on uneven ground. From that point on, Eddie made sure all his skid steer machines were fitted with Norm buckets.
Fast forward to a few years later, Eddie purchased a CAT 259D with a 4-in-1 buckets for use on his ranch in Texas. Quickly realising that nothing in the US could compare to the innovating and quality of Norm's buckets, he knew there was a market for these products in the US, and thus, Dirt Boss was born.
Now, Dirt Boss ships Norm Engineering attachments across the United States, from Texas to Florida, California to Washington State, and even to Canada and Alaska. From introducing our specialized 4-in-1 buckets and rippers into the Texas market to supplying project sites across the country, Dirt Boss continues to bring high-quality, heavy-duty products to the forefront of the construction industry.
